-
ð Invoicing
Sometimes a simple invoice will do. We're building a simply invoicing feature to enable you to get paid profesionally without needing to send a contract.
-
ðī ACH (aka e-check)
Ditch those old paper checks! Give your clients the ability to pay with an e-check which lowers fees and provides the increased speed and security.
-

ð Implement New Rebuild
We rebuilt the entire backend of Agree.com. With over $300,000,000.00 worth of transactions this was a huge undertaking.
-
ð Scheduled Payments
Now you can offer your clients the ability to pay over time with our new Scheduled Payment feature. Simply add the dates and the amounts and your client will be charged automatically.
-
ð§ðŧ Adios Wizard
We have removed the walk through wizard required in order to create your contract. Now you can go from start - to - send in less than a minute!

100% rebuild
Moving from Angular JS to Angular (I know that's confusing) was a huge task and with $250k worth of contracts being processed every single day there is literally no room for error.
-
Covid craziness
What a year! We were already a remote team so our day to day didn't change but it was a hard year to not get sucked into some type of drama.
-
Here we go
Everyone was excited about 2020 and then....well...you know what happened....
ð
2019
-
New vision
With Agree.com needing a full rebuild it was time to start planning for an entirely new team and product.
-
New team
We moved to a fractional (contractor) model in order to bring in incredible talent to plan for the future of Agree
-
New updates
We shipped a few updates this year that improved the wizard and added some functionality to the contracts.
ðŠī
2018
-
Time to grow
We now had a good platform that was working well and bringing on customers consistently. We had processsed about $100 Million worth of contract value and customers were happy.
-
Minor updates
We didn't make many additions to the platform during this year and focused on servicing and listening to the customer feedback.
-
Angular JS phase out
In July of 2018 Angular JS started a three year phase out which means we needed to get to work on an entire new build.

2017
-
Transition to Bend
A couple of us moved from Santa Barbara and went up to Bend, OR and we transitioned to a new tech team.
-
Stabilizing the product
This was a much needed but slow process but getting the platform stabilized and making incremental changes on it was the top priority.
-
Wepay integration
We completed a transiton from facilitating our own payments to using Wepay (now Chase bank).

2016
-
Digital Payments
Payment facilitating was hard. Really hard. We orginally went through the ringer and became our own "payment facilitator".
-
Big Problems
Becoming our own payment facilitor at this time was like walking in the dark through a mine field. There was no roadmap and a constantly changing enviroment.
-
Lots of marketers - no product
We are a bootstrapped startup and we started to run out of money. We had sales and marketing ready to go but the product delays were killing us.

2015
-
The wizard
We wanted the product to be incrdibly simple and for the user to be able to create their first contract without even creating an account so we built a wizard where they would be creating a contract while also creating their account.
-
Problems Problems Problems
We chose to use a new technology called Angular JS which at the time was being taughted as the future...well...it wasn't
-
Contract Builder
This was the first piece of the puzzel. We wanted to create a simple drag & drop contract builder where small businesses could create a contract in less than 1-minute.

2014
-
The initial product
Although Agree.com is a simple product the research and development was a long phase. We explored many diffrent business models and talked to a lot of people about the payment facilitating piece.
-
The initial team
The original Agree.com was the Shoot & Share team. We had built several products in the past including Pass, Showit and Shoot & Share.
-
The initial idea
Like most good ideas it didn't come from one person or while sitting on yoga ball. The idea of Agree.com came through community. Specifically the Shoot & Share photography community.
